Max, a young boy in a green jumpsuit, stepped into the zoo with wide-eyed wonder. The sun had begun to set, painting the sky with hues of orange and purple.

The zoo was filled with the most peculiar animals, not just by their looks, but by their actions. They were not like other zoo animals Max had seen before.

Max approached the giraffe's enclosure first. The giraffe leaned down, extending a long, gentle tongue to lick Max's cheek. It was a giraffe's way of saying hello.

The giraffe led Max to a little hut. Inside, there was a soft bed waiting for Max. The giraffe tucked him in and whispered a soft 'good night' in his ear.

Next, Max visited the monkeys. They swung from the trees, chattering and laughing. One monkey, the oldest of them, gestured towards a hammock tied between two trees.

Max climbed into the hammock, the monkeys tucking him in with leaves. They sang a soft lullaby, their voices harmonizing with the rustling of the leaves.

Finally, Max came to the elephants. The biggest elephant, with wise, kind eyes, sprayed Max with water from its trunk in a playful greeting.

The elephant led Max to a bed of straw. It gently blew air from its trunk, creating a blanket of warmth. Max felt his eyes grow heavy as the elephant hummed a gentle tune.

Max woke up to the soft glow of the moon, the zoo was quiet except for the occasional hoot of an owl. He looked around to find all the animals asleep in their habitats.

Max felt a pang of longing for his own bed. He knew he had to leave the zoo and return home before his parents started worrying about him.

Max walked back home under the guiding light of the moon. His room was just as he left it, his bed waiting for him.

As Max climbed into bed, he felt a soft wind on his face, as if the animals from the zoo were whispering a final goodnight. He closed his eyes, ready to visit his backwards zoo in his dreams.
