Lily, the captain of the girls' basketball team, was having a rough season. After another disappointing defeat, she found herself wishing for a miracle. That night, she confided in her boyfriend, Connor, expressing her wish that he was a girl so he could help her team.

Connor, wanting to help Lily and her team, made a wish that night. He wished he could become a girl to help them. The next morning, to his surprise, his wish came true. He had transformed into a girl. He had become Carly.

Carly joined the girls' basketball team and quickly became the star player. Her skills on the court were unmatched, and the team started winning again. Carly was not just an excellent player, but she also became the most popular girl in school.

Boys started giving Carly a lot of attention, and she was constantly surrounded by her new friends from the team. However, she noticed that Lily seemed to be feeling left out, and their relationship started to strain.

Carly realized that while she enjoyed her new life, she missed the bond she used to share with Lily. She missed being Lily's boyfriend. However, she also loved being a part of the team and the friendships she had made as Carly.

It was the end of the season, and Carly had to make a choice. Should she go back to being Connor and Lily's boyfriend, or should she stay as Carly, Lily's best friend, and keep the bonds she had made with her new friends?

After a lot of soul-searching, Carly chose to stay a girl. She realized that she had grown a lot during this journey, and she wanted to continue exploring this new part of herself. She decided to permanently stay as Carly.
