Weiss Schnee had always been a risk-taker, but she never thought a simple bet would change her life. One day, she crossed paths with a peculiar child who claimed to be a witch. Intrigued, Weiss decided to challenge the child to a game of chance, confident in her abilities.

To Weiss's surprise, the child was not only a real witch but also a sharp player. In a few swift moves, Weiss found herself on the losing end of the bet. The child witch giggled, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

"A bet's a bet," the child witch declared, her voice suddenly sounding much older. With a flick of her wrist, she transformed herself into an adult and Weiss into a baby. Weiss's hair turned brown, and she sprouted bunny ears.

The witch left, leaving the baby Weiss behind. Weiss's friends, who had been watching the whole ordeal in disbelief, rushed to her side. They were shocked to see their friend now a baby Faunus, a race of beings with animal characteristics.

Among them was Velvet Scarletina, a bunny Faunus, who took the baby Weiss under her care. As she cradled the transformed Weiss, she could only hope they could find a way to reverse the witch's spell.

The days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Despite their efforts, Weiss remained a baby. Velvet took care of her, treating her like her own child. Weiss's friends had to adjust, seeing her not as their friend but a baby.

Velvet proved to be a good mother, caring for baby Weiss with love and patience. She taught her basic things, like how to crawl and eventually walk. Velvet's heart swelled with pride as Weiss took her first steps.

Weiss's other friends also contributed, helping Velvet raise Weiss. They played with her, read stories to her, and watched over her. Despite the circumstances, they formed a unique bond with baby Weiss.

They celebrated Weiss's first birthday with a small party. Velvet made a cake shaped like a bunny, Weiss's newfound symbol. As they watched Weiss clumsily try to blow out the candle, they couldn't help but feel a sense of joy.

However, underneath the happiness was a sense of longing. They missed their friend, the confident and aloof Weiss Schnee. They hoped that one day, they could find a way to break the spell and bring their friend back.

One day, Weiss's friends encountered a wizard who claimed he could help them. He was a kind old man, with a long beard and a staff, who had heard of their predicament.

The wizard agreed to help Weiss, but he needed a special ingredient for the reversal spell - a tear of genuine happiness from a Faunus. The friends were puzzled but determined to find the tear.

They all tried to make Velvet laugh, hoping to make her shed a tear of happiness. However, despite their best efforts, they couldn't make Velvet cry out of genuine happiness.

Then, one day, Weiss said her first word, calling Velvet "Mama". Velvet was so overwhelmed with happiness that a tear rolled down her cheek. The friends quickly collected the tear.

They brought the tear to the wizard, who used it in a reversal spell. As he chanted, a bright light enveloped Weiss. When the light faded, Weiss was back to her original form, albeit with bunny ears.

Weiss was overwhelmed, but her friends were overjoyed to have their friend back. They hugged her and cried with happiness. Velvet was especially relieved, though she would miss her 'child'.

From then on, Weiss was more careful about making bets. She also learned to appreciate her friends more, especially Velvet. And even though she was no longer a baby, she still had the bunny ears, a reminder of her unique journey.

Life returned to normal, but their friendship was stronger than ever. They would often recall the time when Weiss was a baby, laughing at the memories. Despite the hardship, they were grateful for the experience.

And so, the story of the Bet of the Bunny Faunus became a legend among Weiss's friends. It was a tale of friendship, responsibility, and love, a tale they would cherish forever.

And as for Weiss, she might have lost a bet, but she gained something much more valuable. She gained a deeper understanding of her friends, a mother's love from Velvet, and a pair of bunny ears that made her unique.

So, even if the bet was lost, in the grand scheme of things, Weiss Schnee was a winner. A winner in the game of friendship and love, a game much more important than any bet.
