In the eternally twilight world of the demons, there were two young princes, Sun and Moon. Sun was vibrant, full of energy and enthusiasm, whereas Moon was calm, collected, and focused.

Their father, the Demon King, was a fearsome figure with a temper as fiery as the pits of their realm. He was not a loving father, nor a kind king. His wrath was a constant worry for the young princes.

One day, Sun was laughing and playing noisily in the great hall, his vibrant energy echoing through the castle. Suddenly, his carefree laughter was cut short by a sharp, painful grip on his horns.

The Demon King grimaced, hoisting his son into the air. Sun squirmed in his father's grip, whimpering in pain and fright. His crystal-blue demon eyes were wide with fear.

In the dimly lit room, Moon watched the scene unfold with an icy gaze. He hated that their father treated them this way, but he felt powerless to stop it.

Sun was thrown onto the sharp, rocky floor. Tears welled up in his eyes as he rubbed his head, bruised from the impact. Moon rushed to his brother's side, trying to comfort him.

"How many times must I tell you to behave?!" The Demon King roared, pointing an accusing finger at his sons. They could only reply with silence.

"Don't cry, Sun. Let's just go to our room," Moon whispered as he helped his brother up. The dark corridors of the castle felt even darker that night.

The night was long and sleep was elusive. Sun kept crying while Moon hugged him close, unable to do anything else. Their room felt cold and lonely.

The next morning, the brothers woke to silence. They cautiously ventured out, afraid of what the day would bring. The castle seemed lifeless, its usual hustle and bustle absent.

They found their father in the throne room, slumped in his seat, fast asleep. The sight of their powerful father, so vulnerable, was a strange sight for the young princes.

"We should wake him," Sun said hesitantly, but Moon shook his head. They decided to let their father sleep and silently left the throne room.

That day they spent together, just the two of them. They played quietly in the castle grounds, careful not to wake their father. The day passed uneventfully, a rare occurrence in their lives.

The following days were the same, their father still asleep in his throne. The calm was strangely unsettling. But it gave the young princes a chance to heal, both physically and emotionally.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. The Demon King showed no sign of waking, and the castle was eerily quiet. The young princes no longer feared his wrath.

As the months passed, the princes began to change. Sun was becoming more mature and less rambunctious, while Moon was becoming more assertive and less withdrawn.

They started taking charge of the castle, trying to fulfil the responsibilities their father had left unattended. It was hard, but they supported each other, growing stronger with each passing day.

A year passed and the Demon King finally stirred, opening his eyes to see his sons standing before him. They had changed, no longer the scared children he remembered.

"Who are you two?" The Demon King asked, his voice raspy from disuse. The young princes stood tall, looking their father directly in the eyes and replied, "We are your sons."

"We've been ruling the castle in your absence," Moon added, his gaze unwavering. The surprise in their father's eyes was evident. He'd underestimated his sons, he realized.

Sun stepped forward, his blue eyes seething with determination. "We won't let you abuse us anymore," he declared, his voice echoing through the throne room.

The Demon King stared at his sons, a mixture of shock and admiration in his eyes. He found himself speechless, unable to refute their claims or assert his dominance.

From that day forward, the brothers ruled together, turning the once feared castle into a haven for the demons. Their father's reign of abuse was over, and a new era had begun.

They brought peace and justice to the demon world, inspiring others with their bravery. They proved that even the young could be strong, and even the abused could fight back.

Sun and Moon became heroes of their realm, demonstrating that power wasn't about abuse, but responsibility. Their story resonated, turning the Demon Princes into symbols of hope and courage.

Despite their difficult past, they triumphed, using their experience to transform their future. They grew into wise and strong leaders, forever remembered as the two young demon princes who defied their abusive father.
