    Kansilay, a beloved maiden of the village, was known for her courage and compassion. She was loved by all, especially by Lawa-an, her sweetheart.

    Lawa-an, the strongest warrior of the village, was deeply in love with Kansilay. Their bond was unbreakable, their love story was known by all.

    When bandits attacked their village, Kansilay and other young women armed themselves to protect their people. The peaceful village was now a battleground.

    Amid the chaos, Kansilay fought bravely, her courage shining through. However, she was mortally wounded by the bandits, her life slowly fading away.

    Lawa-an found Kansilay, his heart shattering at the sight. He held her close, whispering comforting words as she breathed her last.

    Fueled by grief and rage, Lawa-an sought vengeance. He fought the bandits with a newfound ferocity, avenging Kansilay's death.

    With the bandits defeated, Lawa-an mourned Kansilay's death. He was a hero, but he had lost his love. The village mourned with him.

    Lawa-an buried Kansilay with honor and respect. He planted a seed on her grave, a symbol of life amidst death, a tribute to her bravery.

    From Kansilay's grave sprouted a beautiful tree, its pink blossoms painting a picture of hope. It stood tall and strong, just like Kansilay.

    Lawa-an would often sit under the tree, finding comfort in its shade. It was a living memory of Kansilay, a testament to their love.

    In honor of their fallen heroine, the villagers decided to rename their village Silay. Kansilay's name would forever be etched in their history.

    The Kansilay tree continued to bloom, a constant reminder of Kansilay's sacrifice. Her spirit lived on in the tree, in the village, in their hearts.
