in ancient time Three men found themselves trapped in a cave, the entrance blocked by a massive rock. The first man began to pray, recalling his righteous deed.

'O Allah! I had old parents and never provided my family with milk before them. Once, I came home late to find them asleep, but I waited till dawn for them to drink first.', he said.

He finished his prayer and the rock shifted a little, but they were still trapped. The second man then decided to share his righteous deed.

The second man started, 'O Allah! I had a cousin who I desired. In a year of famine, I gave her gold, hoping she would surrender to me.'

'However, when she reminded me of the sin, I refrained and let her keep the gold. If I did that for Your Sake only, please relieve us from this calamity.'

As he finished his prayer, the rock shifted a little more, yet they were still not free. The third man then began his prayer.

'O Allah! I once employed laborers and paid them all except one who left without his wage. I invested his wage and got much property thereby.'

'Years later, he returned to claim his wage. To his surprise, I gifted him all the wealth his wage had earned. If I did that for Your Sake only, please help us.'

As the third man finished his prayer, the rock shifted completely. A ray of light entered the cave, and they were finally free.

They walked out of the cave, their hearts filled with gratitude and joy. Their faith and righteous deeds had indeed saved them from their predicament.
