Noah was a righteous man who lived in a world filled with wickedness. Despite the evil that surrounded him, he remained faithful and obedient to God.

One day, Noah received a divine message from God. God told him that a great flood would cover the earth and destroy all life.

God instructed Noah to build a massive ark. This ark would house his family and two of every kind of animal, saving them from the impending doom.

Noah set about to fulfill God's command. He began to gather gopher wood and other necessary materials to construct the ark.

The construction of the ark was an enormous task. Despite the mockery and scorn from others, Noah remained steadfast and committed.

After many years, the ark was finally complete. It was a massive structure, capable of housing Noah's family and a pair of every animal.

Noah then began to gather the animals. Two of every kind, both male and female, were led into the ark.

The task was daunting, but Noah's faith remained unshaken. He trusted in God's promise and believed in His plan.

Once all the animals were inside, Noah and his family entered the ark. As they did, the skies began to darken.

God shut the door of the ark and the rain began to fall. It rained for forty days and forty nights.

The waters rose, covering the highest mountains. All life outside the ark was extinguished. But inside the ark, Noah and his family were safe.

After the rain ceased, the earth was covered with water for a hundred and fifty days. The ark floated on the water, its inhabitants waiting for the earth to dry.

Noah sent out a raven to see if the water had receded. The bird flew to and fro until the earth was dry.

Then Noah sent out a dove. But the dove returned to the ark, for there was no place for it to rest.

After seven days, Noah sent the dove out again. This time, it returned with an olive leaf in its beak. This was a sign that the earth was becoming dry.

When the earth was finally dry, God commanded Noah to exit the ark with his family and the animals. They had been in the ark for over a year.

As they stepped onto dry land, Noah built an altar to God. He offered sacrifices in gratitude for their deliverance.

God was pleased with Noah's faith and obedience. He made a covenant with Noah, promising never to destroy the earth by a flood again.

As a sign of this covenant, God set a rainbow in the sky. Every time it rains, the rainbow reminds us of God's promise.
