Shawna's hands trembled as she read the note. She felt a surge of fear, her heart pounded loudly in her chest. The reality of her situation was slowly sinking in.

She took a deep breath, her mind racing. She knew she had to keep calm if she was to find a way out of this mess.

Shawna looked around the room, her eyes scanning for any clues. The room was dusty, filled with antique furniture.

She noticed a faint light under the door across the room. Gathering her courage, she decided to investigate.

As she walked, she felt the weight of her belly. She had to adjust her balance, but she managed to make her way across the room.

Shawna reached the door and slowly turned the knob. The door creaked open, revealing a dimly lit corridor.

She stepped into the corridor, her heart pounding. She could feel the cold air on her skin, sending chills down her spine.

Suddenly, she heard a faint sound. It was a soft whimpering, like a child crying. She followed the sound, her curiosity piqued.

The sound led her to a closed door. She hesitated, then pushed it open. Inside was a small room, empty except for a crib in the corner.

Shawna felt an overwhelming sense of dread. The crib was rocking gently, but there was no baby inside. The crying had stopped.

She left the room quickly, the eerie silence following her. The corridor seemed to stretch infinitely, doors lining both sides.

Shawna kept walking, her mind filled with questions. Who had put her here? Why? And what was the purpose of this horrific experiment?

Suddenly, she heard a loud crash behind her. She turned around, only to see a shadowy figure disappear into one of the rooms.

She decided to follow the figure, her heart pounding. She pushed the door open, but the room was empty.

On the floor was a key. Shawna picked it up, hoping it could be her ticket out of this nightmare.

She kept moving, trying every door she came across. Most were locked, but she finally found one that the key fit.

Inside was a small office. There was a desk with papers scattered all over. She began to sift through them, looking for answers.

Among the papers, she found a journal. It belonged to a scientist who had been conducting experiments in this hotel.

The entries revealed the horrifying truth. The scientist had been experimenting on women, making them appear pregnant for some unknown reason.

Shawna felt sick. She couldn't believe what she was reading. But she knew she had to escape and expose the truth.

She left the office, her determination renewed. She had to find a way out, not just for herself, but for the other victims as well.

She walked for what felt like hours. Finally, she found a staircase leading down. She descended, hoping to find an exit.

At the bottom was a door. Shawna pushed it open, stepping out into the cool night air. She was free.

She looked back at the hotel, shivering at the thought of what had happened there. But she knew she had to tell the world about it.

She walked away from the haunted hotel, her mind filled with the horrors she had witnessed. But she knew she had survived, and that was all that mattered.
