Alex, leading the group, pushed the cabin's door open. His flashlight barely pierced the darkness inside.

Lena followed him closely, her eyes, wide with anticipation, darted around the creaky interior.

Zack, the last to enter, bolted the door behind him. "This will do for the night," he announced, a forced cheerfulness in his voice.

Suddenly, Lena felt a chill run down her spine. She couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. She whispered, "Do you guys feel that?"

Alex's torch flickered and died. He felt a cold hand brush against his. He yelled, "Something touched me!"

Zack tried to calm him down, but his own voice wavered with fear. "It's just the wind, Alex."

Lena, trying to light a candle, felt a cold breath on her neck. She screamed, dropping the candle, which went out instantly.

Alex and Zack hurried over. The three friends huddled together, their hearts pounding in the darkness.

Suddenly, the cabin door slammed open, the wind rushing in with a deafening roar. The presence was no longer just watching.

Their survival instincts kicked in. Alex, Lena, and Zack, ignoring their fear, decided to confront the ominous presence.

They shouted in unison, a desperate plea for the presence to leave. Their voices echoed through the cabin, drowning out the storm.

A sudden calmness descended. The storm outside ceased abruptly. The friends, barely believing their luck, embraced each other, relieved and exhausted.
