As a guard at the SCP Foundation, my life is anything but normal. Every day is a challenge, a new anomaly to contain.

    Painting your imagination...

Today, I was assigned to SCP-173. It's a deadly entity, only moves when not directly observed. The tension was palpable.

In the containment cell, I could feel SCP-173's presence. The silence was deafening, broken only by our synchronized blinks.

After my shift, I was relieved but mentally drained. The constant vigilance took a toll on me.

Back in my quarters, the normalcy seemed surreal. I recorded the day's events in this diary, a ritual that kept me grounded.

The next few days were a blur of anomalies and containment procedures. It's a strange life, but it's mine.

    Painting your imagination...

Suddenly, a containment breach. My heart pounded as I prepared for whatever horror awaited. It was SCP-682, the hard-to-destroy reptile.

SCP-682 was out and it was chaos. Despite the fear, we were trained for this. We initiated the containment procedure.

We managed to re-contain SCP-682. The facility was a mess, but we were alive. It was a close call.

    Painting your imagination...

After the breach, we were on high alert. The fear was palpable, but so was the determination. We were the last line of defense.

In my quarters, I recorded the day's events. The fear, the chaos, the relief - this diary holds it all.

As I lay down to sleep, I knew tomorrow would bring new challenges. But for now, I was just glad to be alive.
