Excitedly, Mei picked up the exotic shell, holding it close to her ear. Instead of the usual sound of the ocean, she heard a soft, enchanting voice whispering, "Please, I need your help."

Startled, Mei quickly pulled the shell away from her ear. She looked around, but saw no one. Emboldened by her curiosity, she placed the shell back against her ear. The voice spoke again, "Release me. I am trapped."
