Blake was a 23-year-old who had taken up the task of babysitting two children, Amelie and Joseph, while their parents were away at a wedding. He was finding it amusing to handle the kids.

Joseph, the younger one, had developed a puppy crush on Blake. He would blush and stutter whenever he saw him. It was cute, yet a bit awkward for Blake.

One afternoon, Joseph confessed his feelings to Blake, which left Blake flattered but also in a predicament. He gently let the little boy down, trying not to hurt his feelings.

Amelie, the elder sister, was not happy about having a babysitter. She felt she should be in charge. She was smart and cunning for her age, always planning something.

When Amelie saw Joseph crying in his room, she felt a rush of protectiveness. He had been rejected by Blake, and in his child mind, it meant Blake didn't like him at all.

Amelie hatched a plan to solve both their problems. She decided to look for a spell to turn Blake into a child. This way, Joseph could date his crush, and she could be in charge.

She spent the entire night researching spells and incantations. Finally, she found the perfect spell. It would not only turn Blake into a child but also keep his adult memories intact.

The next morning, Amelie put her plan into action. She recited the spell while Blake was making breakfast, completely unaware of what was about to happen.

Suddenly, Blake felt a strange sensation. He shrank in size, his clothes became too large for him, and he found himself at eye-level with the kitchen table.

Amelie couldn't help but laugh at the sight. Blake was now a child, just like them. But she could see the confusion and fear in his eyes.

Blake was shocked at his transformation. He looked at his small hands and his clothes that were falling off him. He turned to Amelie, who was trying to suppress her laughter.

"What did you do, Amelie?" Blake asked, his voice now high-pitched. He was struggling to understand what just happened. He looked at Amelie, hoping for answers.

"Now you're one of us, Blake!" Amelie said, trying to sound cheerful. "Don't worry, you still have your adult memories, but you're a kid now!"

Joseph walked into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Blake. He looked confused, and then his eyes lit up.

"Blake?" he asked, his eyes wide. "Is that really you?" Blake nodded. Joseph broke into a grin and gave Blake a big hug, clearly happy about the change.

Blake was overwhelmed. He looked at Amelie, who was beaming with pride. He realized then that he was stuck in this situation and had to make the best of it.

The days that followed were a whirlwind for Blake. He had to adjust to his new reality, all while dealing with the memories and knowledge of his adult self.

Amelie took charge of the house, happy to finally be the one making decisions. She was firm but fair, and surprisingly, she was doing a good job.

Joseph was thrilled to have Blake as a friend his age. They played games, told stories, and even went on pretend dates, much to Joseph's delight.

Blake had to admit, being a child wasn't as bad as he thought. He enjoyed the freedom and the innocence of childhood, and the bond he formed with Joseph was priceless.

When their parents returned, they were shocked to find their babysitter turned into a child. After hearing the entire story, they decided to let things stay as they were.

Amelie was happy with the outcome. She had successfully turned the tables and was now the one in charge. Plus, she had made her little brother happy.

Blake, now a permanent child, found a new perspective on life. He cherished his second chance at childhood and the unique bond he shared with Joseph.

As for Joseph, he got to date his crush and found a best friend in Blake. He couldn't have been happier, all thanks to his big sister, Amelie.

So, in the end, Amelie did win. She won the chance to be in charge, and she won the happiness of her little brother. And that, for her, was a perfect victory.
