Gina, an eccentric woman, was known for her lavish dinner parties. For this year's Thanksgiving, she was planning a dinner like never before.

Gina invited six of her closest friends: Elsie, Robert, Lydia, Daniel, Kate, and Peter. She knew their tastes well, knowing exactly what dishes to prepare for each of them.

On the day of the dinner, her friends arrived, marveling at the exquisite decor and the array of dishes on the table.

Gina welcomed them warmly, her eyes twinkling with gleeful excitement. She invited everyone to take their seats.

They all began with the appetizers, which were delicious. The guests complimented Gina on her culinary skills.

As they moved to the main course, Gina served a mysterious dish, covered with a silver cloche.

Elsie, being the elder, was offered the first taste. She took a bite and her eyes widened in surprise.

One by one, the friends tried the dish and a similar look of astonishment spread across their faces.

"This is delicious," Daniel exclaimed. "I've never tasted anything like this before! What is it, Gina?"

Gina merely grinned, waving off the question. "The dessert is next," she announced, diverting their attention.

As they moved on to dessert, a delicious apple pie, the guests continued to relish the unusual feast.

Dinner over, the guests loosened their belts and reclined in their chairs. All eyes were on Gina, waiting for her to reveal the secret of the dish.

But Gina had a different plan. She stood up, walked to the front door, and locked it. All eyes widened as they watched her.

"I'm glad you all enjoyed the dinner," Gina said, smiling eerily. "Especially the main dish, because that's what you're going to become."

The room fell into a shocked silence. Everyone sat frozen, staring at Gina in disbelief.

Before they could react, Gina opened her mouth wide, an unnaturally gaping maw, ready to devour them.

The guests screamed and tried to escape, but it was too late. One by one, Gina swallowed them whole.

Gina's Thanksgiving dinner was over, and she sat alone at the table, chuckling to herself. She had been the perfect hostess after all.

The house fell silent, the laughter and chatter from earlier eerily absent. Only Gina was left, with her victorious grin.

She cleared the table and washed the dishes, humming to herself. This was the best Thanksgiving dinner she'd ever had.

As she tucked herself into bed that night, she let out a satisfied sigh. The memories of the feast would surely give her sweet dreams.

The next day, Gina woke up refreshed and ready for a new day. She decided to write thank you notes for her guests.

She wrote about how much she enjoyed their company, and how delicious they had been. "See you next Thanksgiving!" she signed off each note.

She then prepared a memento for each guest, a piece of their clothing framed, to remember the dinner by.

Weeks later, Gina received response letters from her guests. They were brief "thank you" notes, unaware of their own demise.

Gina took pleasure in reading them, chuckling at the irony. She knew they'd never attend another dinner again.

As Thanksgiving rolled around the following year, Gina looked at the framed mementos of her guests fondly.

She felt a pang of longing for another such dinner. The thought brought a mischievous grin to her face.

She made a list of new guests - six more friends who lived nearby. The cycle was about to begin.

The invitations were sent out, and Gina began preparing for her next grand feast. Thanksgiving would never be the same.

This year, the mystery dish would be different, but the end would be the same. Gina's feast was just beginning.

As for Gina's former guests, they remained in the memories and the framed mementos, forever a part of Gina's Thanksgiving.

And so it goes, year after year, Gina continues her Thanksgiving tradition, with new guests and new memories to devour.

Gina's Thanksgiving dinner remains a feast like no other, remembered by none, but always enjoyed by one.

And while the town may wonder why friends disappear each Thanksgiving, Gina keeps her secret, waiting for the next feast.
