Gabriel Agreste's mansion buzzed with the chatter of the guests, a rare event that often left Adrien feeling out of place despite it being his home. Tonight, though, he had managed to convince his father to let him bring a friend along.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng joined him, her eyes wide as she took in the grandeur of the mansion. Adrien couldn’t help but smile at her astonishment.

After dinner, the party was in full swing, but Adrien and Marinette found themselves bored. They exchanged a glance and, with a nod of agreement, decided to sneak out unnoticed.

They found a secluded spot under a tree. The night was dark and a bit chilly, but the stars above them were twinkling brightly.

Marinette shivered slightly in the cold, and without a word, Adrien took off his jacket and draped it around her shoulders. She smiled at him, a blush dusting her cheeks.

They spent the time talking about everything, from school to fashion to superheroes. The more they talked, the closer they felt.

Adrien remembered the day he had first met Marinette. It was a rainy day, and he had given her his umbrella. From that day, she had brought happiness into his life.

She was always there for him, cheering him up when he was down, supporting him when he was lost. She was one of his closest friends, and he cherished their friendship.

But about a month ago, he had realized his feelings for Marinette were deeper than friendship. He had tried to ignore it, but he couldn't.

As they sat under the starry sky, he decided to confess his feelings. He took a deep breath, looking into her eyes, and said, "Marinette, can I talk to you?"

She looked at him, her eyes wide and curious. He continued, "Ever since the day I met you and gave you that umbrella, you have brought happiness into my life."

"You have always been there for me and are one of my closest friends. And about a month ago, I realized you are more than just a friend to me."

He paused, his heart pounding in his chest, then said, "Will you be my girlfriend?" His eyes held hers, awaiting her response.

Marinette looked at him, her eyes welling up with tears. For a moment, she was silent, then she whispered, "Yes, Adrien. I will."

Adrien's face broke into a wide smile, his eyes shining brighter than the stars above them. He reached out and took her hand, their fingers intertwining.

They sat there for a while, just enjoying each other's company under the starry sky. It was a moment they would remember for the rest of their lives.

They didn't notice the time pass, the stars acting as their only source of light. The world seemed to have stopped, leaving only the two of them under the tree.

After a while, they decided to head back to the mansion. As they walked back, hand in hand, they couldn't help but smile at each other.

As they reached the mansion, Adrien turned to Marinette. "Thank you," he said, "For bringing so much happiness into my life."

Marinette looked at him, her eyes soft. "Thank you, Adrien," she said, "For being there for me and for being you."

They shared a warm smile before entering the mansion. As they walked in, they knew that their relationship had taken a new turn.

They re-joined the party, but this time they weren't bored. They had each other, and that was all they needed.

As the night wore on, they found themselves smiling more and more. They danced and laughed, enjoying the party like never before.

And when the party ended, they said their goodbyes. As Marinette left, Adrien watched her go, his heart filled with a sense of warmth and happiness.

He knew that from now on, they would be more than friends. They would be partners, not just in superhero battles, but also in life.

As Adrien went to bed that night, he couldn't help but smile. He was looking forward to the many adventures he would have with Marinette.

And he knew, whatever happened, they would face it together. Because they were not just friends, they were partners. And they would always be there for each other.
